The Catholic and Protestant University Communities (Katholische und Evangelische Hochschulgemeinden) as well as the International Office of the Alpe-Adria-University Klagenfurt

Occasion
Advent season, nowadays often experienced as a stressful time, was to be brought to people´s attention again as a quiet and contemplative time.

Target Groups
Students and staff of the University of Klagenfurt.

Objectives
To offer a pause for contemplating the essential during the pre-Christmas rush.

Topics
Open talks on different subjects as well as prayers for peace from the different world religions.

Duration
The Interreligious Advent Celebration has been established over 20 years ago.

Activities
Cozy get-together with tea, roasted chestnuts and cookies as well as praying the world religions´ prayers for peace.
